Progress
gradually being made. You can see the grey mid-coat, followed by the cross-belts,
followed by the other areas of white coat which,. against all that darkness,
suddenly
begin to leap out at you! On the left, you can see the grenadier company,
with the first areas of white being applied. The drummers and officers
have had a couple of coats of
Skull White, which explains their comparative brightness.
Again, as the white is applied, I paint slightly further back from the edges, leaving the thin lines of Chaos Black and Codex Grey showing , creating a surprisingly subtle shadow.
